Bob Carlin: "High-level commentary carried by KCNA, another one by the same author—Jong Hyon—appeared on December 20. This one has caused a considerable reaction in Western media, though it actually contains little that is new." @38NorthNK
KCNA: "The LKP, a cancer-like entity in realizing peace and reunification, must not make a mockery of the people with its wicked wordplay but end its existence as early as possible."
KCNA: "As a crow can never be whiter for often washing, the conservative group can never conceal its despicable nature as the 'party standing for war', 'confrontation-oriented party' and 'anti-reunification party' no matter how loudly it trumpets about 'peace'."
KCNA: "Still when the inter-Korean relationshave greeted a turning point, the conservative group, which is on the decline with each passing day after being sternly judged by history, is working hard to block the trend of the present situation with thoughtless remarks."

And here's the full English-language text of North Korea's latest statement about stalled negotiations with Washington, just after the U.S.'s lead negotiator arrived in South Korea.
KCNA: "If the U.S. gives up the ambition for denuclearization by dint of high-handed practices and pressure and unilateral 'denuclearization of north Korea', the way-out will be shown."
KCNA: "Voices of concern are heard from the U.S. to the effect that finding a way for the denuclearization, given the present stalemate of the DPRK-U.S. negotiations, would be like a groping for a way in the middle of desert. But there is a way."
KCNA: "Or it is trying to find a way of derailing the improvement of relations and the denuclearization process by inventing absurd 'evidence' called 'strange signs' in nuclear and missile bases of the DPRK."
KCNA: "It is persisting in the maintenance of sanctions on the DPRK and pressure over the issue of 'human rights'. It seems it is thinking of rattling the DPRK, a country of high sense of dignity, and disrupting the negotiations."
KCNA: "What we asked the U.S. to take as a corresponding measure was not a thing that ishard to put into practice for the U.S. The end of the hostile policy toward the DPRK and the lift of unwarranted sanctions measuresthe U.S. can do without a knuckle of finger."
KCNA: "We have shown the U.S. which has thousands of nuclear weapons enough to destroy the earth several times, the country which has not changed even a single point-mark in its nuclear attack map targeting the DPRK, our will to denuclearization."
KCNA: "In the light of this fact, it would be proper to say that the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula means 'completely removing the nuclear threats of the U.S. to the DPRK', before it means the elimination of its nuclear deterrence."
KCNA: "It was the U.S. which forced the DPRK to possess the nuclear weapons as a war deterrent as the former posed steady threats to the latter with nuclear weapons through the deployment of nuclear strategic assets and nuclear war exercises."
KCNA: "Therefore, it is a self-evident truth that the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula is a joint work which can never come true unless the DPRK and the U.S. make joint efforts."
KCNA: "When we refer to the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, it, therefore, means removing all elements of nuclear threats from the areas of both the north and the south of Korea and also from surrounding areas from where the Korean peninsula is targeted."
KCNA: "When we refer to the Korean peninsula, they include both the area of the DPRK and the area of south Korea where aggression troops including the nuclear weapons of the U.S. are deployed."
KCNA: "The U.S. must have a clear understanding of the phrase, denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, and study geology, in particular, before it is too late."
KCNA: "By replacing the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula with 'the denuclearization of north Korea', the U.S. tries to cause the optical illusion of the people in their view of the DPRK-U.S. relations, and stop them from making a correct judgment."
KCNA: "The U.S. regards the big concept of the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula as the same as the partial concept of the 'denuclearization of north Korea'. The June 12 DPRK-U.S. joint statementdoes not contain any phrase called 'denuclearization of north Korea'."
KCNA: "In the course of analyzing in detail the hardly understandable words and acts the U.S. madeand its improper behaviorsduring negotiations, we could see what the knotty problem is. It was the U.S. misguided understanding of the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula."
KCNA: "A commentary 'It would be better to search for a new way rather than facing a barrier in the old way' was made public by Jong Hyon on Thursday."

Tens of thousands of taxi drivers in South KOREA are protestING against a proposed carpool service being launched by one of the country's most popular messaging operators, that they say threatens their jobs
North Korea says it won't denuclearize unless the US removes its troops and nuclear umbrella from South Korea and Japan. DPRK also accused the US and Trump of misleading the world about what was agreed to at the Singapore talks last summer.
US official says Washington reviewing North Korea travel ban
KCNA: "Japan, a militarist viper that has been desperate for a wild ambition to launch overseas expansion, effuses venom towards the world, free from 'restraint'Japan's reinvasion is a matter of time."
KCNA: "All members of the LKP are criminals who must stand trial of history as they are accomplices of Park and depraved guys nurtured by her. All those seeking to realize their political ambition even by using the living corpse like traitor Park are betes noires."

North Korea objections to proposed UN Human Rights Security Council meeting
U.S. military assessment finds that warships and surveillance aircraft deployed to enforce North Korea sanctions have forced oil smugglers out of the East China Sea and into smaller boats, but transfers continue.
KCNA: "The U.S. proposal for consulting the 'human rights issue' of the DPRK was refused by several member states of the UNSC. Many media in Asian, African and Western countries broadly report that the U.S.was put to shame under the eyes of the world."
KCNA: "The U.S. has discussed the DPRK's 'human rights issue' at the UN Security Council early in December every year since 2014 by abusing its position, but its attempt went amiss this year."
